ART
The Getty Center Art Museum, Los Angeles — a world class museum with a vast collection of paintings, sculpture, antiquities and objet d'art. Bouguereau and many other great works.
The Haggin Museum, Stockton — Bouguereau and Gérôme

My primary interest is in Renaissance to late 19th century painting, sculpture and objet d'art, and in antiquities.

ARCHITECTURE
I am a great admirer of Frank Lloyd Wrights, and California has many highly regarded FLW buildings, many of which have been featured in movies and TV shows.
(I have visited Fallingwater in Pennsylvania, and Taliesin West, the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, the First Christian Church and the Gammage Auditorium in Arizona.)

CUISINE
Everything from Michelin starred restaurants to local hotspots featured in Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins & Dives.

AUTOMOTIVE
Mullen Automotive Museum, Oxnard — recommended by Jay Leno — is a museum that displays car exemplifying design, especially European.
The Nethercutt Collection, Sylmar is a museum of classic vintage automobiles and a renovated locomotive and period private car.
